What should I do if I am running late?
How to ensure you show up on time
- Review the details of your shift in advance - the address, how to get there, the start time and job requirements
- Plan ahead for inclement weather, traffic and other potential delays. Traffic or weather is not a valid excuse for running late so please plan ahead accordingly
If I know I am going to be late, what do I do?
- Inform Spotwork as soon as possible to give the company the opportunity to make alternate accommodations
Late policy
- You will not be paid until you arrive on site, check in with the site contact and check in
- If you are more than 15 minutes late and get sent home by the shift supervisor, you do not qualify for the 4 hour minimum pay
- If you are less than 15 minutes late, you will not be marked as late but if you are sent home, you will not qualify for the 4 hour minimum pay
- If you do not check in on our system within 60 minutes, you will be considered absent and will not qualify for any payments for this shift
