How to create and edit position templates

Creating position templates must be done first before posting a shift.

What are position templates?

Position templates allow users to create and save their job descriptions so they can be utilized for future use. This helps users post empty shifts more efficiently. Position templates MUST be created first before posting a shift on the platform. This can be done via the "Manage Positions" function or "Post Shift" function by clicking "Create a new position".

  1. Once logged into the dashboard, click the "Shifts" tab in the main menu. 
  2. Select "Manage Positions" in the top right corner.

Select "Create a new position".

  1. Fill in the position details ( Hint: Be as detailed as possible. This helps job seekers determine if the role is a good fit for them).
  2. Select "Next step".

  1. Continue to fill in position details. 
  2. Select "Next step"

  1. Fill in the location of the shift. (Hint: You can be more specific about the location of the shift by dropping the location pin at the exact location in the pop-up window)
  2. Fill in arrival details and wage. 
  3. Select "Next step".

  1. Select your autofill preference (Hint: Autofill allows our technology to fill open roles with the best candidates using the dashboard's backend algorithm. IF you do not wish to use autofill, select "No Autofill needed". You will need to manually send offers to job seekers).
  2. Select "Finish".

  1. Review the shift details. 
  2. If you wish to edit any details, select "Edit". 
  3. If all details are accurate, select "Confirm and create". Your position template will be saved to your existing position templates.

How to edit position templates

Previously saved position templates can be edited or deleted. Follow the instructions below:

  1. Once logged into the dashboard, click the "Shifts" tab in the main menu. 
  2. Select "Manage Positions" in the top right corner.

Select "Manage pre-existing positions".

  1. Select "Actions".
  2. Select "Edit" in the drop-down menu. (Hint: Select duplicate to duplicate the existing template. Select delete if you wish to delete the existing template) .

Select "Edit" located in the top right corner of the section you wish to edit.

1. Input the changes into the position details. 

2. Select "Confirm" when finished.

Once all sections that require editing are complete, select " Confirm and create" to save changes.

  1. Select "Yes" in the pop-up window the save changes.
  2. Select "Confirm".
